  27. Clip mapping functions by using the luminosity (brightness) values of the 
  28. image you are using as the clip map. Any luminosity values above 50% gray 
  29. will be clipped, while those below won't be. Therefore, the parts you 
  30. want clipped should be white. Any thing you don't want clipped should be 
  31. black (or at least below 50% gray)
